Hi, I’m Joseph!
I understand how stressful it can be to get kids dressed, coordinated, and smiling on cue for a photo. Even as a professional photographer and father of two boys, getting my own children to sit still and look at the camera is one of the hardest task! And because I’m always the one behind the lens, I barely have any real photos of myself with them, just phone selfies.
So when I get to step into the frame with a family, I really understand exactly what that moment means.
I’ve helped many families and children get comfortable in front of the camera for natural, unposed portraits. I also work with dance studios, capturing performers in a way that represents their brand.
Work that’s trained me to read energy and movement in real time and catch the split-second moment a subject looks natural, not posed. That’s the same skill that makes the difference between a stiff family photo and one that actually looks like your family.

A Few Things Parents Usually Ask
What if my child won’t cooperate or gets shy in front of the camera?
This is genuinely the most common worry parents have, and it’s exactly what the session is built around. We don’t pose and demand smiles, we follow your child’s pace, build in breaks, and capture the real, natural moments in between.
What should we wear?
We’ll cover this in your pre-shoot discussion (step 2) so you’re not guessing. As a general rule, soft, coordinated tones photograph better than busy patterns or logos, but we’ll tailor this to your home and family.
How long does the session take, and how much space do we need?
The base session runs about 30 to 40 minutes. We work with the space you already have, your living room, backyard, or favorite corner of the house, no need to tidy up for a magazine shoot.
Can we reschedule if something comes up?
Yes. Life happens with kids. You can reschedule once for free with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Do you photograph just the kids, or the whole family, including me?
Whoever you want in the frame. Solo, duo, or the full family, and yes, that includes you, not just the person usually holding the camera.
What do we get afterward, and is there any pressure to buy more?
Every session includes a guaranteed set of professionally edited photos, already covered by the $99 rate. If you love more from the gallery, you can add extra photos or prints afterward, but there’s no obligation to.
